The Hotel offers 48 individually decorated bedrooms including 7 junior suites in keeping with the style of the House, many with four posters. The rooms are located in three buildings, main house, The Pavilion and The Cloisters. Most rooms in the main house and the Pavilion are on the first floor. “All rooms with baths especially in the Pavilion may not be suitable for those with disability challenges.”
“We are Dog Friendly Hotel”
Well-behaved dogs may stay by prior arrangement provided the owners accept full responsibility. Dogs are allowed in the main house or Pavilion bedrooms, library, bar area and on the ground. They must be on the lead at all time in public area. The dog fee is £15 per dog, per night when stay at the hotel.
MAIN HOUSE
Our rooms in the Main House are decorated in a traditional chic, yet cosy, Country House fashion, some adding the slightest modern twist, all coming together to create the perfect ambience for your stay. There are two ground floor rooms; one Executive Universally Accessible (UA) room and one Standard Double room.
Standard Room – Main House
Please do not be deceived by the name as our standard rooms are anything but! Each room, uniquely designed, is spacious & inviting, these rooms are the best choice for a couple after a little more room to breathe. It should also be noted that you have a choice of a double bed or twin beds with these rooms. Some of our standard rooms have walk-in shower.
Executive Room – Main House
Our Executive Rooms in the main house offer a range of different quirks, with some opening onto the lake and others offering a beautiful view. These rooms are spacious and elegant, perfect for those who prefer to relax at the hotel and take in all it has to offer.
Executive Universally Accessible (UA) room
Our new refurbished room in November 2022, designed by Sarah Daniels, which features either twin beds or as a super king, a stylish en-suite wet room, HD TV, hot beverages and rattan seating. It is situated at ground level and part of the main house. The room also provides outdoor seating.
Small Double Room
Our small doubles are warm, cosy & inviting, ideal for those after a more homely feel. As the name suggests these room are of a smaller size, great for solo travellers & couples.
Junior Suite – Main House
The Junior Suite in the main house aka The Wellington Suite, is coming with a traditional style, including lounge area and en-suite bathroom.
Lake Suite
Our Lake Suite is our biggest room, boasting a living room, small dining area and a separate bedroom & bathroom, as the name suggests this room opens out onto the lake, making for a spectacular view whilst sipping on your morning tea or an evening tipple. The size of this room makes it the best room for families after a long get away, or couples after all the comforts of home whilst enjoying the luxury of our simply delightful hotel.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion rooms boast a traditional Country House feel, with an elegant modern twist, giving these rooms an ideal light and airy feel to them. It takes less than a minute by foot from the main house. There is one Executive Double room with shower over bath and two Standard Double rooms on the ground floor with walk-in shower. All rooms on the first floor have private balconies. All rooms are dog-friendly.
Standard Double – Pavilion
Standard rooms in the Pavilion are located on the ground floor outside the main hotel. Both rooms have a walk-in shower, outlooks over the hotel landscape. They are suitable for single occupancy, and comfortable for two guests. The rooms benefit from tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, digital TV and have wireless internet access.
Executive – Pavilion
There are four Executive double and two Executive twin rooms in the Pavilion. They are spacious with beautiful views from private balconies, some of them with a four poster beds. Most rooms are on the first floor and one double room is on the ground floor with terrace. All of Executive rooms in the Pavilion have shower over bath. One child (under 10 years old) extra bed or one travel cot can be added in the room (with additional fee).
Junior Suite – Pavilion
Our Junior Suites in the Pavilion are coming with lounge area. There are space to add up to two child Z-Beds (additional charge). These rooms are ideal for romantic couple’s trip away or a small family get away, much like our Executive rooms our Junior Suites in the Pavilion with spacious balconies, making them fantastic for a chilled summers night in.
The Cloisters
Our Cloisters Suites are situated within a separate building, on the upper level, adjacent to the main house. All rooms offer spacious, bright rooms, decorated in a smart and sophisticated fashion, giving them a flawless modern feel, perfect for lovers of the modern-day décor. There are 6 Executive Double and 1 Junior Suite, all with private balconies.
Please note that there are steps to access the building, however there are plenty of parking spaces at the rear of Cloisters having the same level to access the rooms.

Executive Double – Cloisters
Executive Double rooms in the Cloisters are spacious with beautiful views and balconies. Some rooms have a sofa bed or one child extra bed can be added. One travel cot can be added in this room with extra cost per night.
Junior Suite – Cloisters
Our Junior Suite in the Cloisters has a super king size bed and a seating area with beautiful views from the balcony. An en-suite bathroom has a free standing bath tub and a separate shower. The suite has digital TV, tea & coffee making facilities, iron and ironing boards, mineral water and wireless internet access. There is a double sofa bed in this room which can be set up for maximum of two children (with additional fee).
