LOCAL SPARKLING
Chapel Down is proud to be England’s largest wine producer and is changing the way the world thinks about English wine. Located only a stone’s throw away, they combine grapes grown from Sussex, Kent & Essex while working alongside iconic British institutions such as The Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race and more recently have become the official sparkling wine sponsor of the English Cricket Team.
We’ve chosen Chapel Down because they are not only a fabulous producer of wines, but also passionate about sustainability, with renewable electricity used for all sites and the re-use of grape skins to create the spirits featured in The Gunpowder Bar. The wastage is then sent for anaerobic digestion to produce renewable energy.
